Without You

A single tear rolls away,
falling into eternity,
I beg for it to stay,
to comfort, grant serenity.

My heart begins to wrench,
to halt it's steady rhythm,
tears falling in a lynch,
with pieces of my broken heart with them.

I roll over, falling into the thought,
the sweet melody of your name,
end over end, with all things sought,
misery leaving, leaving nothing the same.

The tears have long since ceased,
misery that came, has since gone,
the pain for the moment, eased,
to return all over, my friend before long.
